What We Do
Candlelight, LLC Co-op Services offers Bookstores an easy affordable alternative to the hassle of filing co-op claims. We are a "One Stop Shop" when it comes to helping you plan a marketing strategy, getting co-op pre-approved, filling out claim forms, and submitting co-op claims to the publishers.
We submit co-op claims for:
- Newsletters: Just provide us with a copy of your newsletter. We go through and identify eligible titles and submit the co-op claims to the publishers.
- E-newsletters: Simply add us to your e-mail list. We go through and identify eligible titles and submit the co-op claims to the publishers.
- Author Events: Send us a list of your events you plan on having for the upcoming month and we will confirm with you that procedures have been followed to receive the maximum co-op available as well as purchase quantities and expense re-imbursement.
- In Store Displays: Snap a photo of your displays and e-mail them to us. We take care of the claims.
- Newspaper Ads or Radio Spots: Just send us a copy of the ad or script along with any receipts and we submit the claims.
How We Do It
- We start by gathering all your co-op pool information from the publishers.
- We then start a running tally of co-op available and used each month.
- At the end of every month, we send you a detailed summary of what has been claimed as well as what is remaining in your co-op pools.
- We also give you a strategy on how to use whatever co-op is available.
